Competition
Competitions are a special time for quartets and choruses from our region
(Central States District) to come together and perform for each other,
and receive some constructive feedback from a panel of judges.
Spring Competition
In the spring of every year, The ShoMe Statesmen Chorus participates in the
Central States District small chorus competition. This year, we placed 2nd!
Our District Quartets also compete in the spring. The highest scoring quartets
earn the right to represent our District as they compete in our
International Competition!
Fall Competition
In the fall, all choruses compete and the winners of the fall chorus competition (and all other
choruses scoring high enough) travel to International Competition the following
year and represent our District at our International Competition.
Here's the video from our Fall Competition this year!
Quartets also compete in the fall for the title of District Champs.
Once a quartet has won the District Championship, they can then
only compete in the spring.
